Roles & Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities: -


Group Consolidation

  • Review all subsidiaries/associates financials highlighting any cause of concern for fluctuations and ensuring that these financials are suitable for consolidation
  • Preparing quarterly consolidated results for the Group in Singapore and Australia which includes liaising with Group personnel to agree intercompany balances / transaction
  • Prepare/review discounted cash flows for certain subsidiaries/associates

Statutory Financial statements

  • Prepare announcements, Half Year and Full Year reports for lodgment with Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”)
  • Prepare consolidated statutory financial statements for the Group and local subsidiaries, review financial statements of overseas subsidiaries
  • Liaise with auditors of the Group companies to finalise accounts

Budgets / Forecasts

  • Review budgets, forecasts for the Group companies and prepare the consolidated budget / forecast for the Group

Operational

  • Analyze subsidiaries’ results and identifying cost control measures
  • Study and explore ways to improve internal audit functions within the Group

Taxation

  • Prepare/review tax computations for local and overseas subsidiaries for submission to the tax authorities
  • Liaising with IRAS on finalisation of tax matters of local subsidiaries

Others

  • Corporate secretarial work such as writing minutes and lodging returns
  • Support treasury function
  • Support certain finance and secretarial functions of overseas subsidiaries
  • Be conversant with our ERP system and assist in the implementation for other subsidiaries
  • Ad-hoc assignments and group initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions and listing etc.
  • Any other jobs assigned

Job Requirements: -

  1. Accounting degree or professional accreditation
  2. 3-5 years’ experience in preparing group consolidated accounts
  3. Able to work independently
  4. Good verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and good organisational skills
  5. Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin is considered an advantageous asset for this position
