Head of Corporate Strategy

The Head of Corporate Strategy & Business Development is responsible for driving the company’s strategic growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and business expansion. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, financial acumen, and the ability to execute high-impact growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership to define the company’s vision, expand market presence, and enhance business performance.
The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record in corporate strategy, deal-making, and business development.
Main responsibilities:
1. Corporate Strategy Development
- Develop and execute the company’s long-term growth strategy, including M&A, strategic investments, and partnerships.
- Identify and assess new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Lead negotiations for mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align corporate development initiatives with overall business objectives.
2. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Manage, Identify and develop new revenue streams, strategic partnerships, and expansion opportunities.
- Drive market entry strategies, including international expansion and new product/service launches.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, investors, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing and management team to drive business growth.
- Assess business performance and recommend adjustments to growth strategies.
3. Financial Analysis & Deal Execution
- Oversee financial modeling, risk assessment, and valuation of potential deals.
- Work closely with finance, and operations teams to structure and execute transactions.
- Manage post-merger integration activities to ensure value realization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business development
- Deep understanding of the company’s industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis.
- Proven ability to develop and execute long-term corporate growth strategies.
- Experience leading high-value transactions, partnerships, and M&A.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
