Key Responsibilities:

  • Have deep understanding of business processes and analyze business requirements and translate into technical specifications.
  • Experience in designing and implementing the technical solutions/architecture that meet the business requirements.
  • Ability to guide, lead and mentor offshore development team and provide direction and support to team members.
  • Collaborate closely with functional consultants to ensure that the technical solutions align with the functional requirements.
  • Participate in requirement workshops to provide technical insights and recommendations.
  • Involved in estimating the effort required for development tasks and planning the project timeline and ensure that the team has a clear understanding of the scope and deadlines.
  • Ensure the quality of technical deliverables and conduct code reviews, unit testing and ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices.
  • Effective communication and regularly communicate with project stakeholders, including business users and project managers to provide updates on progress and address issues or concerns.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging the adoption of new technologies, best practices, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and quality of the development process.

Relevant Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead in SAP projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and functionalities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • S/4 HANA certification is preferred

Technical skillsets

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Must have experience in SAP implementation, roll out, upgrades, support.
  • Good experience/knowledge in SAP BTP services.
  • Good to have experience/knowledge in SAP RAP, SAP BAS, ADT, Fiori and UI5.
  • Strong command of core ABAP programming, data dictionary, enhancement framework, interfaces, reports and forms, conversions, workflow, performance tuning, and related technical components.
  • Good integration knowledge of different platforms to and from SAP such as RFC, BAPI, IDOC, webservices (SOAP, REST etc)
