Secretary (Japanese Desk)

We are Focus Law Asia LLC, a boutique disputes law firm based in Singapore. We are looking to hire a secretary to join our Japanese desk.
Job Description:
- Administrative support to lawyers: managing schedules, calendar, calls, travel bookings, appointment reservations and recurring commitments.
- Manage file opening and closing procedures, including conflict checks.
- Prepare invoices / bills, staff claims.
- Send chaser and follow up with clients on outstanding invoices / bills.
- Conduct searches (e.g. Cause Book, ACRA, INLIS etc).
- Document management: organisation of documents, emails, and correspondence.
- Other office support activities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE “O” Level qualifications.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of Japanese would be an advantage (as the successful candidate will handle matters with Japanese clients).
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook) and competent working with PDFs.
- Ready to work in a paperless office and with cloud applications.
- Team player, meticulous, efficient and organised.
- Working hours: 9am to 6pm. Mondays to Fridays.
