Senior / Systems Engineer (Intelligent Transport)

As a Senior Systems Engineer for FOD Detection Systems in Aviation, you will oversee the system-level design, integration, and maintenance of our FOD detection systems. Your expertise in systems engineering will be essential in ensuring that all components work together seamlessly and efficiently.
What will you do?
- Oversee the system-level design and integration of FOD detection systems.
- Ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
- Develop and implement system testing and validation procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues.
- Maintain and configure system networks, ensuring cyber security considerations are met.
- Manage backend software such as DP, network monitoring, backup, antivirus, etc.
- Set up and maintain systems, preferably video surveillance systems, including network components such as switches, firewalls, and computers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our FOD detection technologies through innovation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all system-level designs and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- B.Eng degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on network design and configuration.
- Good knowledge of system network design, configuration, and cyber security considerations.
- Good knowledge of backend software such as Database, network monitoring, backup, antivirus…etc
- Familiarity with backend software such as DP, network monitoring, backup, antivirus, etc.
- Hands-on experience with setup and maintenance of systems, preferably video surveillance systems, including network components such as switches, firewalls, and computers.
- Studied or have experience with video processing and camera-related knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience with CAG/CAAS projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to write reports.
