Roles & Responsibilities

Job Descriptions:

  • Handle of HR and administrations, including Recruitment, Compensations and Benefits, Performance appraisal, Payroll Processing, Implementation of policies, Introductions & Exit Clearance, and other HR-related functions
  • Handle & resolve employee queries / issues in a timely manner
  • Work pass matters (New applications, renewals, cancellation)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and databases, upholding trust and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Claim submission for NS, Maternity, Paternity, Childcare leaves
  • Monthly payroll processing & CPF submission, Tax Clearance IR21 for foreign employees and IR8A submission
  • Prepare monthly HR reports
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of payroll information.
  • Coordinate and administer training & development programs including submitting of claims/training grants to various government agencies.
  • Handles matters related to general worker such as dormitory arrangement, update residential address via MOM OFWAS system, CSOC, Coretrade, levy waiver, medical checkup for new hire and monthly renewal workers.
  • Conduct and complete market surveys from MOM and various HR related surveys.
  • Handle all workpass applications, renewal, cancellations, booking air tickets and levy matters, etc.
  • Handles matters related to general worker such as dormitory arrangement, update residential address via MOM OFWAS system, CSOC, Coretrade, levy waiver, medical checkup for new hire and monthly renewal workers.
  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment process, including job ad posting, screening, schedule for interviews and job offer.
  • Manage full employee life cycle which include onboarding for new hire, updating of employee personal data, administering employment related letters, handling payroll, income tax and employee benefits & welfare, through to offboarding for resignee
  • Handle leave administration for the workers and liaise with Operations to get leave updates input in the HR system
  • Handle staff WICA claims, file WSH Incident report to MOM and follow up with the insurer on the claim process.
  • Identify training courses as requested by the Operations and handle course registration and training grant.
  • Follows through on home leave application of foreign workers and seeks the necessary approvals, purchases air tickets for workers;
  • Follow up with purchase or cancellation of workers' bond guarantees;
  • Carries out periodic checking of workers' passport expiry dates;
  • Handles worker dormitory matters;
  • Handle internship administration and onboarding of interns
  • Review and update Company HR Policy accordingly / periodically.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Three years of relevant experience, performing different HR functions
  • Good understanding of local employment laws and regulations
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to others
  • Well-organized and able to multi-task.
  • Familiarity with HR systems is a plus
