Job Duties/Descriptions:

  • Meeting with interior designers to understand the requirements and specifications of a project
  • Developing detailed drafts of room designs, including floor plans, elevations, and sections using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Preparing and updating project documentation, including design specifications, cost estimates, and schedules
  • Presenting drafts and design ideas to clients or interior designers for approval
  • Reviewing and revising drafts based on feedback or changes in project scope
  • Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other professionals on the implementation of design plans
  • Keeping up-to-date with new interior design trends, materials, and technologies
