Our Water business would like to welcome you as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the project team working on the mega water infrastructure project located in Tuas, Singapore.
The role will be part of a larger team of the contract administration of the assigned facility within TWRP. They will work across all TWRP contracts assigned to the facility, to administer the contract. The Assistant QS will report to the Construction Manager for the assigned contracts.
- Working with a Project / Construction Manager to evaluates, selects, and applies standard contract administration and measurement techniques to the administration and assessment of progress claims.
- Performs routine aspects of quantity surveying, assessment, processing and certification of progress claims, and general administration of contracts.
- Assist in progress claims and invoices.
- Certifying work done by Contractors.
- Review and evaluate extra payment and /or extension of time claims by the Contractors and make recommendations to the Board.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for variation claims, obtaining and assessment of quotations, preparation of change notices, and SO Instructions.
To be a successful candidate you shall possess:
- Minimum Polytechnic Diploma with relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project construction. Consultancy experience will be an added advantage.
- MS Office skills.
- Knowledge in BIM will be an added advantage.
