Senior Nutritionist

General Responsibilities:

As a Senior Nutritionist, your mission is to oversee and perform a comprehensive scope of work related to nutrition and wellness. You will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of nutrition and allergen management are maintained for our diverse range of accounts. This will involve staying updated on national and global nutrition guidelines, as well as continuously enhancing our nutrition and allergen management framework.

We are looking for someone who can work both independently and as a team player, providing guidance, coaching, and grooming the team to the next level. Your passion for nutrition and wellness will make you a thought leader in the industry, and your strong public speaking skills will allow you to engage and educate small and large audiences, increasing participation and garnering attention.

Supervision & Staff Development:

As a Senior Nutritionist, you will have the opportunity to manage and coach a team of dietitians and nutritionists, ensuring their professional development. You will also play a pivotal role in educating our Operations Team on wellness standards and protocols related to risk management of food allergies and special diets. Implementing training programs to support food allergy and wellness protocols will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Program Development & Implementation:

As part of your role, you will plan and conceptualize nutrition programs and allergen management initiatives to meet personal and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your expertise will be invaluable in addressing and advising on nutritional concerns, issues, and inquiries regarding the menu. You will also play an integral role in driving proposals that highlight the importance of nutrition for business tenders and account retention.

We value compliance with client, company, and government nutrition, allergen, and sustainability requirements. Your contribution to meal planning, menu vetting, and regular inspections will ensure that we meet and exceed these standards. You will also be contributing to the development of best practices and registration for the Healthier Dining Programme.

Job Requirements:

To excel as a Senior Nutritionist at Compass Group Singapore, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Science & Nutrition, or other relevant qualifications.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in food service nutrition, with experience in childhood and sports nutrition being a plus.
• Strong knowledge of allergen and nutrition legislation, standards, and codes.
• Registered nutritionist/dietitian (member of Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association SNDA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, NutritionistPro, or other nutrient analysis software, as well as web-based software applications.
• Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to plan and deliver audience-appropriate presentations to achieve desired outcomes.
