By leveraging the diverse skill sets and experiences of its team members, Applied AI Labs endeavors to tackle real-world problems and develop solutions that harness the power of AI technology.


We are seeking a talented AI Engineer with expertise in LLMs on a 2 year contract basis to help in revolutionizing the way people interact with technology.

As an AI Engineer specializing in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), you will play a key role in the development and optimization of advanced AI systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy LLM-based solutions that address a wide range of challenges in the media industry.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable algorithms and models to enhance LLM performance and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate LLM-based solutions into existing and new products.
  • Conduct thorough experiments and evaluations to assess the performance and effectiveness of LLM models.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and NLP research, and apply relevant findings to improve LLM technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Comfort with probabilistic instead of deterministic processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs for integrating LLM-based services into larger systems.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in developing and deploying large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Claude) in production environments.
  • Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, with a focus on LLMs.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and distributed computing environments.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including version control, testing, and debugging.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Good to have:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or other relevant frameworks and libraries.
  • Experience with deploying and maintaining LLM-based systems in real-world applications.
