Our client, a leading industry player, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Tax Executive.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work on Singapore corporate income tax computation under guidance of the team
  • Collaborate with other teams, e.g. accounting team, and external tax agents to ensure timely/accurate filings
  • Assist in queries from IRAS and tax agents
  • Handle compliance milestones such as withholding tax filings
  • Support senior executives and/or managers in ad-hoc projects, e.g. cross border transactions, and duties
  • Attend to accounting/tax related inquiries from other departments
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as and when required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or related fields, with a Professional Qualification (preferably recognized by SIATP and/or ISCA)
  • At least 2 years of relevant tax actual experience, preferably with industrial experience or accounting audit-related experiences
  • Fundamental knowledge of Singapore CIT, GST and Withholding tax
  • Hands-on experience (e.g. tax preparation and computation) in above areas
  • SAP ERP experience will be considered
  • Experience in Big 4 firm or MNC tax department is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience in the shipping industry would be advantageous

  • Location: Central
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
  • Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
