Job Title: Supply Chain Lead (Southeast Asia – F&B Industry)

Location: Base in Singapore / Malaysia (Regional travel required)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Lead with a strong background in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry to manage and optimize supply chain operations across our Southeast Asia markets—Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. This role will involve overseeing procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while navigating the unique challenges of the F&B sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regional supply chain dynamics, the ability to drive efficiency, and strong leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Led and managed supply chain operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia for the F&B business, including procurement, inventory management, distribution, and logistics.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies tailored to the unique demands of the F&B industry in each country, ensuring timely product availability and compliance with local regulations.
  • Collaborate with local teams to align supply chain processes with demand forecasts and production schedules, while optimizing inventory and minimizing waste.
  • Oversee supplier relationships across the region, ensuring high-quality standards, on-time deliveries, and effective resolution of any issues that arise.
  • Analyze regional demand and market conditions to forecast product needs and adapt supply chain processes accordingly.
  • Lead communication with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and responsiveness to changes in market demand.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain efficiency and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, logistics providers, and service vendors to maintain cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve supply chain processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency, leveraging best practices from the F&B industry.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality standards in all Southeast Asia markets.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing supply chain team across the region, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • and years of experience in supply chain management or logistics, with a proven track record in the F&B industry.
  • Strong understanding of F&B supply chain dynamics, including sourcing, food safety regulations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
  • Experience managing supply chain operations across multiple countries, particularly in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse teams across different countries and cultures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic nature of the F&B industry.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English. Proficiency in Malay is a plus.
  • Multilingual candidates will have an advantage, especially those fluent in Southeast Asian languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with perishable goods, inventory control, and demand planning specific to the F&B sector.
