  • Champion excellence in architectural design.
  • Contribute to the business development and work-winning of the studio.
  • Lead other local and international multi-disciplinary professionals to execute and deliver design-coordinated projects.
  • Lead and work closely with the design team to realise architectural designs at the highest level of design rigor and quality.
  • Plan and implement workflow processes to achieve optimised and efficient workflow within the studio.
  • Initiate, research and develop project briefs with clients.
  • Research and develop solutions to architectural problems using sketches, working models, and presentation models.
  • Taking architectural design schemes from concept, planning, through to completion, coordinate relevant information with consultants and contractors; and produce full sets of working drawings on commercial and public sector schemes.
  • Lead and prepare design reports and drawing packages for Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design, and Tender Documentation.
  • Lead the integration of technical information and statutory requirements into design and production of drawings, including the preparation of drawings for planning and building control approval, tender and construction purposes.
  • Lead and produce the preparation of specifications and written contract documentation.
  • Attend design and site meetings with the project architect, and making notes where appropriate.
  • Take schemes from planning through to completion, coordinating relevant information, dealing with contractors, and producing full sets of working drawings on commercial and public sector schemes.
  • Produce photo-real 3D Visual images.

Job Requirements

  • Have good leadership and management skills.
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience in Singapore and/or overseas, preferably on large-scale mixed-use projects.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and have a passion and enthusiasm for architecture, urban planning, and design, accompanied with a willingness to learn, inspire others, and innovate.
  • Have a positive working attitude, proactive, conscientious, and attention to detail.
  • Have a recognised professional degree in Architecture.
  • Good organisational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills.
  • Competency in spoken and written English.
  • Have proficient presentation skills in Adobe Creative Suite software - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Powerpoint.
  • Have proficient 2D drafting skills in AutoCAD/ MicroStation.
  • Have excellent 3D modelling and rendering skills in Sketch-up, Revit, Rhino, 3D Max and V-ray.
  • Be proficient in BIM - able to lead and coordinate any work related to it.
  • Have registration with the Board of Architects Singapore, or equivalent overseas registration is a plus.
  • Having additional accreditations, such as, Green Mark Professional, Universal Design Assessor, Integrated Digital Delivery, LEED professional, WELL professional, and ABC Waters professional is a plus.
  • Having additional complimentary qualifications, such as in, Urban Planning/ Design, Interior Design, Lightning Design, Landscape Design, Project Management, and Construction Management, is a plus.
  • Having design and project experience in mission critical buildings, such as, data centres, high-technology logistics and manufacturing facilities, and airports, is a plus.
  • This role involves projects for both Singapore and regional clients, including Japan, Vietnam, China and Indonesia. Therefore, fluency in languages such as Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
  • Have excellent 3D modelling and rendering skills in Stable Diffusion, Twin Motion and Grasshopper is a plus.
