In addition to participating in the review of engineering designs, we assist customers or engineers in gathering and analyzing data.

What you'll achieve
Responsible for Repair Quality Engineering and Test Engineering, in Services Parts. Responsible for design and development activities associated with technical quality assurance protocols/methods. To ensure the products, processes, and systems are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards, applicable government regulations, and customer requirements. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, performs inspections, analyzes data, and drives continuous improvement to maintain high-quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting support documents and records, reviews product roadmaps, and collaborates with customers to evaluate product performance, identify gaps, and drive solutions

You will:

  • Directs the strategic and operational objectives of their organization
  • Manages their organization's staffing needs, guides the career development, and drives performance and pay discussions of team members
  • Drives improvements in usability, customer, and product metrics to comply with industry standards, such as NPS(Net Promoter Score)/NSS(Net Satisfaction Score), IFIR(Initial Field Incident Rate)/FIR(Field Incident Rate), or other standards, and the quality of systems, peripherals, and software, as experienced by customers
  • Ensures quality goals and performance measurements are met, monitors quality results, and identifies exceptions requiring investigation
  • Drives investigation, capture, root cause failure analysis, containment, corrective actions, and process improvements to prevent issue recurrence

Essential Requirements

  • Conducts quality post-mortem and documents lessons learned and recommendations to prevent recurrence of quality issues
  • Works with customers and customer feedback to drive product improvement through the development process
  • Program management of quality deliverables/processes during the development lifecycle process, such as the phase review process
  • Inspects and tests in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products
  • Original Design Manufacturer (ODM)/Supplier and Third Party Repair Partners engagement to drive quality improvements and consistency with all other accountabilities

Desirable Requirements

  • Typically requires 15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree; or 12+ years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 8+ years experience; or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires 10+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill (or equivalent experience)
