Roles & Responsibilities

  • 5.5 days office hours duties

As a Ophthalmic Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Operate ophthalmic equipment for patient’s eye examination.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and surgeries.
  • Obtain and record patient medical history.
  • Perform lensometry and sit-lamp examination as directed by Ophthalmologist.
  • Perform special ophthalmic tests for patients as requested by Ophthalmologist.
  • Assist Ophthalmologists during examination/ surgeries.
  • Clean, sterilize and maintain surgical instruments.
  • Perform front desk duties and attend to walk-in patients.
  • Maintain the examination room clean, safe and organized.

Requirements:

  • Min. A level/ Nitec
  • Nitec in Optician will be added advantage
