Manufacturing Process Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Design and refine manufacturing processes to align with production goals and quality standards.
  • Leverage innovative technologies and techniques to optimize processes and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure products are engineered for manufacturability and suggest design improvements.
  • Develop and update critical manufacturing documents such as work instructions, process specifications, and SOPs.
  • Manage the selection and deployment of new manufacturing equipment to boost efficiency and increase production capabilities.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and deploy corrective measures to solve production problems, reduce downtime, and prevent future issues.
  • Undertake feasibility studies and risk assessments for new process introductions or product launches.
  • Offer technical guidance and training to production staff, ensuring compliance with best practices and procedures.
  • Analyze production data to evaluate performance and implement improvements to meet operational targets.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within the assembly industry.
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing methodologies, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Strong knoin CAD software and other engineering tools for process design and enhancement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
