Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Listed Equity and Derivatives Sales professional to join our team. The Sales Professional will be someone with relevant existing relationships in financial markets and is responsible for supporting the Sales team in generating revenue by developing new business and maintaining existing relationships with clients. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Equity and Derivatives markets and products, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of SBL and Delta One products, along with basic experience in low latency trading, and exchange colocation are added advantages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sales team in developing and executing sales strategies to generate new business and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and pitches to clients.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide relevant product and market information.
  • Assist in negotiating and closing deals with clients.
  • Collaborate with other teams such as Research, Trading, and Investment Banking to provide clients with a comprehensive service.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions.
  • Keep up to date with industry news and market developments.
  • Close partnerships with our presence in the region and work as the main contact representing key clients.
  • Details oriented and overseeing project managements with multiple internal and external stakeholders to reduce time taken for onboarding process, with the goal of achieving go-live of each client.
  • Independent and able to communicate clearly across all levels and with multiple functions such as risk and trading ops, business development, finance, and traders from clients.
  • Understand the full trade cycle from execution to reporting to support clients as main contact or relationship manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Listed Equity and Derivatives Sales or related field.
  • Strong understanding of Listed Equity and Derivatives markets and products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge and understanding in both buy side and sell side OMS and EMS.
