A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a motivated ResearchScientist to conduct cutting-edge research in the topic of "GreenCloud Computing", who will lead groundbreaking research in applyingLarge Language Models (LLMs) to enhance the design, operation, andoptimization of data centers.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Lead andmanage research focused on developing and applying LLMs for datacenter lifecycle management, including design, operation, andoptimization;
  • Prototype and validate LLM-drivensolutions for improving energy efficiency, predictive maintenance,and operational excellence in datacenters;
  • Collaborate with cross-functionalteams, including industry partners, to translate research insightsinto practical applications and deployabletechnologies;
  • Publish high-quality researchpapers in top-tier journals and present findings at leadinginternational conferences;
  • Supervise and mentorjunior researchers, PhD students, and interns in the development ofLLM-based models for data centeroptimization;
  • Stay updated on the latestadvancements in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning(ML), and data center technologies, and incorporate them intoresearchprojects.


JobRequirements:
  • PhD inComputer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, witha focus on AI/ML or data centertechnologies;
  • Proven experience in conductinghigh-impact research in AI, particularly in the application of LLMsor other advanced ML techniques;
  • Strongpublication record in reputable journals and conferences related toAI, ML, and data centeroperations;
  • Demonstrated expertise in datacenter design, operation, energy optimization, or sustainability ishighly desirable;
  • Experience in leadingresearch teams and managing complex researchprojects;
  • Excellent programming skills, withproficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other relevant AI/MLframeworks;
  • Strong problem-solving skills withthe ability to translate complex technical concepts into practicalapplications;
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills, with the ability to present complex researchfindings to both academic and industryaudiences.
