Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Single Family office or private wealth tax compliance and annual declaration to MAS experience is preferred
  • Manage client portfolio in the area of tax compliance and provide tax advisory services
  • Review, provide recommendations on agreements and/or documents of clients for compliance and risk mitigation purposes
  • Review, provide recommendations, solutions on clients’ portfolio and to understand what they have on hand and how this portfolio is to translate into a target revenue
  • Assist with the preparation of responses to Tax authorities’ queries and any audits
  • Proficient in MAS reporting requirement
  • Work collaboratively with business areas as well as other corporate functions, such as provide tax technical support and advisory
  • Manage the management fee agreements, supporting documentations and computations.
  • Liaise with clients and collate the necessary information
  • Prepare detailed computations to calculate tax liability
  • Submit tax computations/returns to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (“IRAS”)
  • Assist in attending to queries raised by IRAS
  • Assist with any other matters in relation to tax

Requirements

  • Degree or professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years related experience, preferably from a private service/ financial services or professional services firm/Accounting firm
  • Being an Accredited Tax Professional with SCTP will be an advantage
  • Familiar with MAS tax incentive requirements
  • Knowledge of tax advising or international tax is an added advantage
  • Must be familiar with Singapore Tax guidelines
  • Self motivated and looking for fast career growth and development
  • Knowledge of Single Family Offices private wealth tax compliance is an added advantage
  • Possess passion, initiative, strong technical skills and an analytical mind
  • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills
