What is a Data Engineer?

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Python Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or entry-level developers who are eager to apply their programming skills in a real-world environment. The successful candidate will be involved in software development, data processing, automation, and API integration using Python. You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy applications that support business and technical requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python applications, including web applications, automation scripts, and backend services.
  • Assist in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
  • Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, handling structured and unstructured data.
  • Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing code performance to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure to deploy and manage applications.
  • Assist in database management, including writing SQL queries, handling data models, and optimizing database performance.
  • Learn and apply machine learning concepts and libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn) for basic data analysis tasks (if applicable).
  • Participate in code reviews, agile development cycles, and sprint planning to improve collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated on emerging Python technologies and contribute to innovation within the team.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, with hands-on experience in developing applications or academic projects.
  • Basic knowledge of web frameworks such as Flask or Django (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with databases
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket) for code management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy) or cloud platforms
