Singapore OPUS IT SERVICES PTE LTD Full time
Roles & Responsibilities

The contracted staff shall support Authority by providing in-house consultancy services, and be responsible for the following:

a. Work with Authority to develop small improvement IT solutions to augment existing system’s modules or further enhance system usability. Perform requirements gathering, develop and implement solution.

b. Develop extract algorithms to extract data from the system logs.

c. Extract and examine logs for non-compliances to the prescribed processes for data patching or configuration.

d. Work with vendor to correct the non-compliances.

e. Conduct log reviews, which include reviewing of Read Access Logs (RAL logs), monitoring for anomalies, and raising to Authority when necessary.

f. For compliance audit checks on HR Master data, monitor for anomalies and raise to Authority.

g. Propose, document and implement improvements to the current work processes to achieve increased efficiency and effectiveness or tighten audit issues in delivering the maintenance support services.

h. Any other tasks as assigned by the Authority.


Pre-requisite for SAP Consultant (Functional)

Education Qualification

· The candidate(s) should possess a Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Science, Engineering or Equivalent.

Required Competencies

Have good knowledge and skillset in the following platforms and applications:

· Good knowledge of information technology, especially in the areas of SAP HCM ERP.

· Good understanding of the data design in SAP HCM.

· Demonstrated competency in investigating and identifying causes of issues, and able to propose solutions to rectify the issue.

· Good planning and coordination skills.

· Good writing, verbal communication and presentation skills.

· Good team player, responsible and conscientious.

· Resourceful, independent, responsive and pro-active.

· Proficiency in SQL and ABAP programming and Office productivity suites.

Required Working Experience

· At least 4 years of working experience in information technology.

· At least 3 years of working experience in operation support for IT system, including end user support, troubleshooting and testing.

· At least 2 years of SAP ERP experience in data administrations support.

· At least 3 years of SQL and ABAP working experience, competent in SQL and ABAP Programming.

· Experience in SG Government HCM projects is preferred.


Security Clearance Requirement

· The candidate is required to be a Singaporean and he/she will be subject to security clearance before commencement of service.
