Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description


  • carry out testing and commissioning related to marine propulsion systems, power generation systems (Marine and Land), deck machinery, etc.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with marine engines (inboard & outboard), auxiliary engine, steering systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, exhaust systems and other components etc.
  • Conduct hands-on fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of marine systems/components in workshops and on-board vessels.
  • Perform hands-on work in mechanical repairs, installation, and removals.
  • Provide support to the project team on the implementation of new projects.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and ensure ship cleanliness.
  • Provide detailed reports on work completed and maintain records of services performed.
  • Prepare outfitting material and electrical fittings for vessel toproject technical requirement specifications.
  • Coordinates with other engineering team members (i.e. withinshipyard engineering department, production, QC,etc.),subcontractors and consultants on technical issues.
  • Have Knowledge specialize work shop in Singapore (Hydraulic,Governor, Main Engine & Aux. Engine Repair.
  • Able to Lead and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Able to independently troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical & electrical problems.
  • To be thorough and pay attention to detail and communication(both listening and specking) creativity, collaboration,timemanagement, conflict resolution, problem-solving, criticalthinking and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Electrical Engineering or related
  • Possess knowledge in Mechanical, Marine Engines and Electricalprinciples.
  • Able to use hand tools and measurement tools to performrepairs and maintenance works onboard vessels
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal and externalstakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office for purpose reports writing and progressreport updates
  • Physically strong on-site attendance, inspection and prefer hand sound person.
