The Senior Manager, SEO is responsible for day-to-day management of a client account and driving business success across channels. It includes SEO, CRO, E-Commerce along with added requirements such as ASO, Content Outreach and more.


Reporting Structure:

  • You report to the Head of Performance and E-Commerce
  • You are expected to manage your team as well as any specialist delivery services that are being deployed in your business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Responsibilities

  • Defines the annual objectives and supervises the budget, keeping costs and margins under control
  • Forecasting and account planning on SEO
  • To provide business supports to agency brands and also drive own sales and projects
  • Establish clear performance indicators and deliver Executive Leadership updates.
  • Nurturing and developing the Specialist team to match the evolution of digital marketing
  • Input into the structure of the department according to the growth provisions.
  • Participate in presentations, conference calls to assist teams across OMG SG in other markets.
  • Provide support to team and proactively work on preparing and researching POV, case studies and white papers.
  • Drive internal communication with teams across Omnicom Media Group as appropriate and provide consultative services to assist with business and account development.
  • Collaborate on the strategy and approach for PR and social.
  • Perform competitive research and opportunity analysis for the company.
  • Participate in weekly team/account meetings and offer ideas and suggestions to improve and evolve optimizations.
  • Expertise with in-depth understanding in technical optimization, high-quality content creation, and strategic link building to drive organic growth.

2. Client Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and provide timely communications to clients for campaign management, optimisation and reporting.
  • Communicate transparently with account leads of any issues, along with planning and account ownership.
  • Format reports and provide top-line insights for on-going reports and post-buy analysis
  • Understand metrics and KPIs of account and continually suggest optimizations to improve campaign performance, ensuring that all optimizations are documented.
  • Oversee process for new launches or site revamps, to ensure organic improvements and stability of the brand site.
  • Develop knowledge of client’s business, competition and latest industry news and trends.
  • Work with the agency brands to formulate and execute, or to add SEO strategies in the business.

3. People Responsibilities

  • Oversight and direction of associated Specialists
  • Provide direction to Specialists when assigning tasks
  • Oversee Specialists to ensure timely and accurate product or results delivery; provide input for Specialist performance reviews
  • Train Specialists on optimization tactics and account budget pacing strategies
  • Assist in training other employees on best practice and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead meetings in the account lead’s absence
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
  • Adept at communicating effectively across all levels
  • Capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships interdepartmentally as well as those outside the team

Experience required:

  • Tertiary qualified
  • 7+ years relevant Paid Search and SEO experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
  • Should be self-motivated with strong leadership skills who is equally comfortable collaborating in a team environment
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll-up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Prior experience leading a team
  • Has experience in working across Asian markets and languages.
  • Strong client facing communication & presentation skills
