Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:


The position involves spearheading the DevOps function to deliver meticulously designed cloud systems, implement continuous integration and deployment processes, and ensure operational excellence.


This position will work with different product lines to champion DevOps methodologies, improve deployment and release efficiency, and streamline integration with frontline Service Management teams.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of DevOps Engineers, offering expert-level proficiency across modern cloud architectures.
  • Provide Level 2 / 3 Support for frontline service management teams, emphasizing permanent solutions to prevent recurring incidents.
  • Design and deliver Technology Systems that adhere to the Azure Well Architected Framework, incorporating all non-functional requirements into the solution.
  • Automate all cloud deployments using declarative as-code solutions.
  • Ensure the quality of Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code within the DevOps Team.
  • Collaborate with Information Security to ensure our systems and code are shielded against security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure that all Technology systems possess comprehensive and integrated Observability capabilities.
  • Identify and propel Service Improvement initiatives within Technology, always striving to provide a better service to our customers and colleagues.
  • Collaborate closely with System Architects, Product Managers, and Technology Leads to facilitate business and technology delivery through our agile-based approach.
