As a Barclays Private Banker, you will have an exciting chance to join our growing team and be accountable for growing, managing and maintaining a book of UHNW Private Banking clients resident in Asia. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients and provide access to the full range of investment solutions, banking services, credit/lending solutions, Structured Solutions, Wealth Structuring Services and Philanthropic services available from Barclays Private Bank. You will undertake business within Barclays risk and control policies.

What will you be doing?
- Engaging UHNW and Family Office clients with complex banking and investment requirements and attract them to execute or place their business with Barclays
- Developing new relationships through personal and client referrals, Barclays group internal networks and corporate and investment banking sources
- Onboarding new clients to deliver business growth for the Private Bank and provide clients with the solutions and services that meet their needs
- Delivering client solutions for sophisticated multi-jurisdiction, multi banked clients with complex banking and investment requirements
- Translating client opportunities into executable strategies, utilizing limited resources efficiently and contribute to the PB P&L
- Contributing to the development of the Asia strategy for the Private Bank Singapore team, including client level planning, business strategy and execution
- Ensuring that all activities undertaken remains within Barclays risk appetite and commercial agenda
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent relationship skills with experience of managing and handling the sophisticated needs of individuals and families
- Experienced in building a substantial client base using internal and external networks, and understanding client’s needs and advising wealth management solutions
- Experienced in operating in a complex investment environment and will satisfy the criteria for an approved person (where applicable) both initially and on an ongoing basis
- Broad experience of the Financial Services industry and skilled in differentiating advice according to the complexity of the client’s requirements

- Wide regulatory knowledge of local regulatory requirements, and an overall understanding of the business impact of the regulatory environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a collegiate approach
- Ability to embrace challenges and evolve their strategy as the business environment develops
- Excellent ability to rapidly assimilate new information and apply this knowledge as appropriate to develop new strategies for client engagement

Our office is located in Marina Bay Financial Centre, which has been carefully crafted into a “city in a garden”.
