We are seeking a talented Backend Software Web Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development and be skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend logic that powers our web-based platforms. As a Backend Software Web Developer, you will collaborate with frontend developers, Product Owners, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications. This role requires experience in server-side programming, database management, and API integration, along with a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for creating efficient and robust web solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the backend components of web applications.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Build and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability.
  • Implement APIs for third-party integrations and internal services.
  • Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement features that enhance the user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend web development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer, focusing on web applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with asynchronous operations or event-driven architectures is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Preferably has experience in Agile development or relevant SCRUM practices.
