Roles & Responsibilities

Senior / Staff Nurse (Radiology)

Provide quality nursing care to patients undergoing radiology examinations and procedures, including patient education, pre-procedure preparation, and post procedure patient monitoring.

Key accountabilities
  1. Provides nursing services to patients according to protocol and standards.
  2. Assist doctors in procedures ensure pre, peri and post nursing standards are adhered to.
  3. To ensure familiarization of use and correct handing of nursing equipment to avoid incorrect usage of equipment.
  4. To conduct necessary quality assurance tests before equipment is used on patients.
  5. To participate in quality improvement projects to ensure continuous improvement in quality of work.
  6. Work closely with radiographers and support staff to ensure patient care is met.
  7. Provide quality customer service to patients.
  8. To ensure compliance to radiation safety policy.
  9. Other assignments when required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent, recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board with at least 2 years of relevant acute hospital experience.
  • Registered with Singapore Nursing Board is preferred.
  • Has a Valid BCLS & AED Cert.
  • Mon-Fri Office hours with Sat half days, able to perform on-call duties.
