Job Description

Nanomatics, a cutting-edge startup revolutionizing plastic waste management, is seeking an intern for Business Development Specialist position. The candidate will lead the growth of Company's innovative products and services. This role involves conceptualizing sales strategies, driving market expansion, building relationships with customers, and ensuring the effective use of resources. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of business and marketing expertise with sustainability concepts to position Nanomatics as a leader in circular solutions for waste management. This is a part-time position with convenient work schedule and possibility to convert into a full-time position.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise sales strategies and business plans for products and services.
  • Propose informed business decisions referring to data insights and analysis.
  • Implement market expansion and new market plans for business growth.
  • Find prospects, develop relationships with potential customers and formulate new account development strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine the products and services to meet market demand.
  • Provide feedback from customers to guide technical and product development efforts.
  • Lead the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, technical promotional content, and illustrations, to effectively promote Nanomatics' solutions.
  • Track business development progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategies and projects.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on achieved outcomes and future plans.

Requirements

  • Candidate is pursuing a degree (BSc, MSc) in business/marketing.
  • Strong "can do" attitude and intrinsic motivation for seeking new opportunities.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially when talking to senior company representatives.
  • Relevant skills (CRM, animation, video production, or other) is a plus.
  • Singaporean PR/Singapore citizen.
  • Able to commit 3-4 months.
