Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on Generative AI to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge GenAI projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), providing expert advisory, developing strategic roadmaps, and facilitating impactful workshops. A strong background in data engineering is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

GenAI Project Delivery:

  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Generative AI solutions on GCP, including but not limited to large language models (LLMs), image generation, and other generative techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of GenAI applications.
  • Model Development: Implement best practices for model training, evaluation, and deployment to address business challenges and opportunities.
  • Data Processing: Collect, clean, and preprocess data to ensure high-quality input for model training.
  • Cloud Integration: Utilize Cloud services such as GCP Vertex AI to build and deploy scalable machine learning solutions.
  • Algorithm Selection: Select appropriate algorithms and frameworks based on project requirements and constraints.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize model performance, including tuning hyperparameters/prompt refinement, improving accuracy, and reducing latency.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs, present findings, and provide recommendations for implementing machine learning solutions.
  • Documentation: Document processes, methodologies, and results to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing within the team.

Advisory and Roadmap Development:

  • Provide expert advisory on the latest advancements and best practices in Generative AI.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive GenAI roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concepts for new GenAI initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the AI/ML space.

Workshop Facilitation:

  • Lead and facilitate workshops to educate stakeholders on GenAI concepts and applications.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions on utilizing GenAI tools and platforms.
  • Gather feedback and insights from workshops to refine GenAI strategies.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Expertise:

  • Leverage GCP services, including Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and others, to build and deploy GenAI solutions.
  • Optimize GCP infrastructure for cost-effectiveness and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GCP deployments.

Data Engineering (Plus):

  • Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity for model training and deployment.
  • Utilize data engineering tools and techniques to support GenAI initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning models, with a strong focus on Generative AI.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services, particularly Vertex AI.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Beam, Dataflow, BigQuery).
  • Experience with MLOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with building Generative AI applications, LLMs integration, and prompt engineering principles.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Data Engineer).
