Does innovation and creativity excite you? Our ever changing menu opens up possiblities and creative juices. We are hunting for a Chef De Partie for the hot station. Explore fermentation, and multifaceted culinary genre and work closely with Celebrity Chef Petrina in creating progressive Asian Fusion plates with a strong ethos in sustainability and zero-waste.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with chef owner to execute and assist in the creation of creative menus which changes every 3 months
- Oversee the daily operations of the station, ensuring smooth workflow, organization, and timely preparation of dishes;
- Lead and mentor the demi-chefs and part time cooks, inspiring them to uphold the highest standards of quality and presentation;
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment;
- Ensure that produce received and prepared are of high quality, ensuring freshness and exceptional taste in every dish;
- Support the chef owner in implementing cost-effective measures without compromising on culinary excellence, and always maintain zero waste and composting in the restaurant;
- Showcase leadership qualities, and teamwork in being able to work well on all tasks even tasks not on your station.

Requirements:
- Proven prior experience as a Chef De Partie in similar role in a high-end restaurant, specializing Asian fusion, Western or French food is a plus.
- A passion and knowledge for food made from scratch, fermentation, and chinese herbs is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, leading and managing the team in day to day operations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure a smooth kitchen operation.
- Ability to maintain good inventory stocktaking, knowledge of food safety standards and best practices, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Creativity and openness to learning new techniques and styles of cooking.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously with the culinary team and front-of-house staff.
