Finance Executive / Junior Accountant (6-12 months contract to Perm role)


About us

Pavilion Capital is an asset management group, incorporated in 2012 in Singapore. Pavilion’s focus is investments in private equity funds and direct investments in companies that ride on the growth and transformation of the North Asian and South-East Asian economies.


The Role

This position will be supporting the Accountants in the Finance Team.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team for a 6 to 12 months contract with the potential for conversion to a full-time, permanent position based on performance.


Key duties and responsibilities


Financial Reporting / Management and Accounts Payable:


  • Assist in day-to-day finance operations, including accounting for income & expenditure, processing staff claims and reimbursement of expenses, cash management, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, management fee computation, budgeting
  • Process daily transactions and funding requirements, updating relevant data and transactions in the accounting and management system
  • Maintain books and records of the fund management entity and investment holding entities, ensuring records are captured and updated on a timely basis
  • Preparation of market values using external financial information for the fund and direct investments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure completeness and accuracy in reporting.

Control and Compliance:

  • Preparation of GST and income tax filing
  • Support audit, tax, and other statutory/regulatory requirements within stipulated timelines

Others

  • Support Finance management in execution of any adhoc projects
  • Participating in special projects and initiatives as assigned, such as, system implementations, or process improvement.

Education Qualification

A diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance with a reputable institution. Qualified Accountants with relevant experience will be considered.


Experience and Skills

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, Microsoft Office particularly MS Excel. Experience in SAP system is preferred.
  • Meticulous, analytical, independent, a good team player and possess good communication skills as well as the ability to deliver quality work within stipulated timeline.
  • Candidates with prior working experience in asset management companies / private equity funds / investment holding companies will have an added advantage.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin
