About Us

AsiaNext is a trusted digital exchange for institutional investors in Asia and globally. It will offer integrated listing, trading, and post-trade services for digital assets, including digital payment tokens. This joint venture between SBI Digital Asset Holdings Co., Ltd. (SBI DAH) and SIX Digital Exchange (SDX) will provide an institutional-grade platform to enable the tokenization and trading of existing securities and non-bankable assets.

AsiaNext will support the growing institutional demand for trading of public and private digital assets. It will leverage the extensive networks of SBI DAH in Asia and SDX in Switzerland and Europe, as well as their joint expertise in fulfilling institutional investors' needs. Both SBI DAH and SDX have demonstrated leadership in digital asset markets globally through multiple investments, issuances and initiatives in this space.

About This Role:-

The Operations Analyst will build strong and collaborative relationships with internal business partners to support new members' onboarding journey into AsiaNext, conduct onboarding screening check, schedule periodic customer due diligence review as well as trigger review on positive alert hit from daily AML sanction and database screening.

The successful candidate is also expected to provide operational, client servicing and account management support to member's queries relating to their trades or transactions on AsiaNext platform.

In addition, the successful candidate is expected to execute onboarding and other operations tasks in line with documented standard operation procedure.

Responsibilites

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following list and may vary during your employment based on the needs of the business, as determined by the Head of Operations:

  • Work with other departments (e.g. Commercial, Compliance, Technology and Risk) to ensure a smooth onboarding journey for new members with proper account setup for trading connectivity after account opening approval.
  • Update the operating standard operating procedure to align with new processes and workflow changes in collaboration with Compliance and approval from HOD.
  • Support to cover other operations tasks as may be required from the Head of Department, including Market Surveillance, trading and custody operations.
  • Support Members's deposit and withdrawal request, and internal cash reconciliation with AsiaNext nostro banks.
  • Functional and regression testing in non-production environments for new, enhancement upgrade or hot fix release, before actual deployment into production.
  • Back up to support monitoring of the hourly settlement run schedule in the production environment, ifrequired.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in banking, business or finance.

Experience and Skill

  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in AML screening in the banks / securities firms / fund management industry, preferably for corporate or institutional clients.
  • Familiar with regulatory AML compliance guideline and procedures in Singapore
  • Good stakeholder and people management skills.
  • Versatile individual who is willing to support coverage for different ops tasks as needed at times.
  • Keen interest to work, learn and grow in a fast-paced start-up environment.
