Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with hands-on expertise in Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Continuous Threat Vulnerability Library (CTVL), Nexpose, and Azure Sentinel. This is a client-facing/delivery role where you will be responsible for cloud operations, security implementations, and threat management. You will engage in technical customer interactions, perform cloud security administration, and ensure the integrity and security of client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and administer cloud security infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Configure security tools and policies to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats.
  • Implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Automate security configurations and deployments for efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to optimize security processes and solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage DAM tools to track and monitor database activities.
  • Identify unauthorized access, privilege escalations, and suspicious activities in databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL.
  • Investigate DAM logs, conduct forensic analysis, and recommend security improvements.
  • Conduct regular database access reviews to enforce least-privilege access control.
  • Utilize CTVL to maintain an updated threat intelligence repository.
  • Integrate CTVL with vulnerability management programs to proactively detect and address risks.
  • Work with security teams to analyze threat intelligence and patch vulnerabilities before exploitation.
  • Deploy and configure Nexpose for vulnerability scanning across networks, servers, and applications.
  • Conduct periodic vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and remediation planning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA) by customizing Nexpose templates.
  • Generate detailed vulnerability reports and collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues.
  • Integrate Nexpose with SIEM platforms for real-time threat monitoring.
  • Implement and manage Azure Sentinel for security incident detection, response, and threat intelligence.
  • Configure custom rules, alerts, and dashboards to enhance security visibility.
  • Correlate logs and analyze security incidents to improve detection capabilities.
  • Work with Security Operations Center (SOC) teams to strengthen cyber defense strategies.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in DAM, CTVL, Nexpose, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud security operations and threat detection.
  • Ability to analyze vulnerability reports and implement effective security measures.
  • Proficiency in SIEM tools and security automation.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve security issues while adhering to SLAs.

Certifications (Preferred but not required):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
