KPMG Cybersecurity professionals assistclients to address their concerns around Confidentiality,Integrity, and Availability of their technology, business systems,and information assets. Using a holistic view of how Technology andBusiness integrate, the Cyber team performs technology-risk focusedassessments, technology compliance, IT/operational process reviews,and design of information risk & cyber securitysolutions.

Cyber team members regularly interactwith C-Suite clients, such as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), ChiefInformation Security Officer (CISO), Chief Information Officer(CIO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Risk Officer (CRO) andtheir direct reports. Hence, a client centric mind-set,understanding of IT within a Business context, and well-developedcommunication skills areessential.

The roleinvolves:

As a director withinthe Cyber Defence team, you will lead red team activities, improvethe team's capabilities, interact with organizations and advisethem on their security programs. You will mature and improve theoutcomes of the red team and other ethical hacking services as wellas coaching and leading team members on their assignments,developing them and growing the team'scapability.
  • Engage with clients toidentify business opportunities for red teaming, penetrationtesting and other technical assurance activities, and working withclients to scope and deliver those services.
  • Being a spokes person for KPMG being able to representKPMG and our Cyber team to a broad range of clients and otherstakeholders.
  • Fulfilling a leadership rolewithin the Cyber Defence team, taking responsibility for drivingenchantments of our services, processes, knowledge andskills.
  • Leading complex red teaming and othertechnical engagements, as the primary contact taking responsibilityfor delivery on time and to budget.
  • Horizonscanning looking for opportunities to develop new techniques foruse in our work and opportunities to enhance our services anddevelop new services.
  • Working with teammembers, you will develop services new services for delivery toclients and take responsibility for maintenance of existingservices.
  • You will act as a technical leaderto the team, providing formal training and mentoring to theteam.
  • Being comfortable with associateddisciplines of Security Policy andGovernance


Theideal candidate should possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science,Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology orequivalent.
  • A highly motivated individual ininformation security and excellent communicator with stronganalytical and good problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in ethical hackingand red teaming.
  • In depth knowledge of ethicalhacking tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by a threatactors to develop threats and engage in cyberattacks and theability to emulate these TTPs as part of red teaming and ethicalhacking engagements.
  • Proven technicalknowledge gained through demonstratable experience, training andprofessional qualifications, as a minimum OSCP and preferably highqualifications such as CCSAM, CTL, OSEP andOSED.
