Roles & Responsibilities

As a member of the Asia Pacific Hotel Finance team, you will be responsible for the collation and analysis of financial data, developing financial models to support management and operations decision-making. Your primary focus is Southeast Asia and your role includes the following:

  • Annual Budget and adhoc performance reviews
  • Evaluation of viability and payback of hotels’ capital investment projects
  • Perform and co-ordinate cross functional reviews of feasibility studies, proposals and financial models on new hotel developments
  • Monthly performance review and reporting
  • Any other financial analysis, reporting and review exercises as required from time to time


Qualifications

Requirements for this position are follows:

  • Candidate must possess tertiary/professional qualification in Accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years post graduate working experience which should include the hospitality industry
  • Past experience in public accounting, USALI, Hyperion and Essbase will be highly regarded
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications in particular - Advance working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and mathematics
  • Proactive, independent and ability to interact well with people from other disciplines and cultures is of paramount importance
  • A reliable self-starter who is capable of handling multi-faceted projects with minimal supervision
  • Fluency in spoken English and excellence in written English are basic requirements
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and Bahasa Indonesia will be highly regarded
