Roles & Responsibilities

Support data engineering tasks, including the implementation and maintenance of

data pipelines, as well as the rectification of broken pipelines. Maintain the data platform and perform regular software version upgrades across all environments, ensuring thorough testing and detailed documentation.

• Support daily operational needs by handling application configuration changes, managing user access request to application, addressing general function queries, and troubleshooting on issues.

Maintain platform on application administration, system connectivity, interface Integration and model deployment.

Perform source code review and configuration review periodically to ensure code quality and verify that sensitive information, such as secrets, is not hardcoded or embedded in source codes or configuration files.

• Periodic patching of Azure Cloud Servers

Develop business processes by engaging stakeholders to understand use cases for building data pipelines, performing data modeling, completing data collection forms, documenting use cases, defining data attributes within various data quality zones, and

establishing naming conventions for datasets. Experience and skills requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines

Must have minimum 3 years of working experience in this role.

Experienced in architecting, designing, developing, implementing and maintenance of data platform.

• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL, Bash, PowerShell, Git commands.

Experience with database technologes (eg. PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle). Familiarity with Cl tools and technologies such as Jupyterttub, Gittab, Jenkins, Azure

Databricks and RStudio, PowerBl.

Experienced in containerization technologies Docker, Kubernetes • Experienced in geospatial tools such as Geopandas. PostGIS, and platforms like

ArcGIS Enterprise/Server. Familiarity with Cl tools and technologies such as G-tah, Jenkins, Azure Databricks and Jupyter Hub.

Experienced in Public Cloud Platforms-Azure, AWS Ability to work well with a tearn and be willing to leam

Must have good communication skills and the ability to

Understand and communicate in English, in speech and writing.

Work with other members in a dynamic and fast-moving team.

Work independently with minimum supervision.

Work on own initiative and adhere to deadlines

Role: System Administrator

• Deliver technical support to users

Investigate and ensure support systems in a business run smoothly.

Provision new servers for ICT systems and websites.

Perform back-ups and manage virus control protection.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.

Document any changes and new processes.

Experience and skills requirements

Technical experience

General understanding of Network

7 to 10 years on Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) management

5 to 8 years of File Server. DHCP, DNS management

Ability to follow process such as ITSM (CI management. Change management, Incident management, etc)

Ability to create/modify script using Python Preference for computer-related majors

Certification

Relevant degree or diploma in Information systems or information technology.

Added advantage with the following:

2 to 5 years of Architecting in Public/Private Cloud

5 to 8 years of AWS/Azure environment management

1 to 2 years on managing Public Cloud (AWS/Azure)

2 to 5 years of Public Cloud migration Critical thinking and problem Solving

Famillarity with SQL and database operations

Great analytical skills

Strong troubleshooting skills

Good communication and interpersonal skils
