Roles & Responsibilities

Concept Artist

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will work to turn ideas into concepts for game production
  • Create documents and communicate specifications and visual benchmarks to support the game’s artistic vision to both internal and external artists.
  • Work to specific briefs to provide the 2D artists with enough conceptual work to inform their work.
  • Provide accurate time estimates for tasks and meet production deadlines.
  • Be responsible to conceptualise the marketing materials to communicate the artistic vision to stakeholders

Experience And Qualifications

  • BA degree in art media, graphic design, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Mobile/videogame in a development studio or in Gaming Industry.
  • Must have experience in 2D concepts and illustrations.
  • An experienced user of Adobe products like Photoshop. Illustrator etc.
  • Create a concept and iterate on ideas across all aspects of the brief
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your refined Concept art and illustration skills for game assets, BG, and UI
  • Adapt your style and technique to suit the requirements of mobile game development.
  • Have a passion for the game industry and an understanding of market trends and styles.
