Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Engineer (IT/ Central/ Attractive Bonus)

Responsibility:

  • Develop strategies by researching and analyzing intelligence, as well as examining patterns and trends.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance threat intelligence processes, procedures, frameworks, libraries, and services.
  • Manage and optimize threat intelligence sources in relation to our operational environments and technology stacks.
  • Gather and evaluate data to indentify patterns and trends relevant to our operational environments and technology stacks.
  • Provide actionable intelligence for investigating security incidents and conduct data analysis based on findings, and to detection operations that proactively monitor systems for potential threats.
  • Undertake proactive threat hunting, including identifying, containing, and eradicating threats, and supporting recovery efforts.
  • Stay updated with the latest methods, tools, and trends in threat intelligence analysis through ongoing research.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on threat intelligence activities and findings.
  • Execute threat modeling and conduct threat hunting operations.


Requirement:

  • Min of 5 years of working experience with at least 2-years in threat intelligence and threat hunting roles and the remaining in incident response, security operations and security engineering roles.
  • Degree in computer science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Security or related certifications
  • Extensive Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows) and programming/scripting (Python, PowerShell).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SMTP.
  • Expertise in cyber threat intelligence processes and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors and their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, GCTI, GCIA, or GCIH certifications are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines, MAS Cyber Hygiene Notice, and Cybersecurity Code of Practice.
  • Advanced proficiency with the Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain, STRIDE, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
  • Cloud experience or knowledge is highly advantageous.
