Role Summary:

Client Money Operations Officer ensures efficient and compliant processing of client fund transactions. The role will include reviewing documentation for regulatory compliance, processing deposits and withdrawals, reconciling records, and maintaining accurate transaction data.

Strong attention to detail and effective communication are essential for problem-solving and collaboration within the team.

What would be your responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine review and verification of client-submitted documents to validate the source of funds and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of client documentation and verification processes in the company's database or CRM system.
  • Process client funds deposits and withdrawals in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with external payment service providers to resolve any issues related to client fund transfers.
  • Assist in reconciliations between internal brokerage records and external payment service provider records, identifying and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Support liquidity management efforts to optimize funds allocation with payment service providers and internal bank accounts.

What we require from you:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting/Business Administration/Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Min 1 year of experience in Operations/Compliance/Client services or similar role would be required. Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify and report discrepancies or issues would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience working in an Internet-based/Fintech organization would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin (to work with stakeholders who converse only in Mandarin).
