Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a creative and skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in WordPress development and a passion for creating responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly websites. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to bring our digital projects to life.


Responsibilities:


WordPress Development:

  • Create and customize WordPress themes to align with project specifications:
  • Develop custom functionalities using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility of websites.

Interactive Website Development:

  • Design and implement interactive elements and animations to boost user engagement.
  • Use frontend technologies like JavaScript libraries and frameworks for dynamic and responsive UIs.

Mobile Responsiveness:

  • Optimize websites for a seamless experience on various devices, focusing on mobile responsiveness.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing for compatibility and functionality across different screen sizes.

Analytics Integration:

  • Integrate and configure Google Analytics for tracking website traffic and user behavior
  • Implement Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixel for efficient tracking and analysis.

Version Control:

Use Git for version control to manage code repositories and collaborate with team members.


Frontend Technologies:

  • Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Implement modern design principles to create visually appealing websites.


Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with designers and marketing colleagues for seamless project execution.
  • Provide input on design feasibility and technical aspects during planning.


Cross-Browser Compatibility:

  • Ensure compatibility of all features and pages across different browsers.
  • Resolve frontend issues related to browser variations.


Performance and Optimization:

  • Optimize frontend performance for fast loading times and smooth interactions.
    Implement techniques like lazy loading to enhance website performance.


Security and Updates:

  • Keep abreast of the latest WordPress updates and security patches.
  • Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development in emerging technologies and design trends.
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in WordPress theme development and customization.
    Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    Demonstrated expertise in creating interactive websites with animations.
    Experience with analytics tools integration (Google Analytics, GTM, Facebook Pixel).
    Familiarity with Git for version control.
    Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
    Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
    Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Direct working relationships with the Marketing Team is a plus.
