Roles & Responsibilities

Work Location : Jalan Bukit Merah

- Manage the server configuration and its operating system of ES(Logs). This includes tracking, maintaining server health and activity, troubleshooting, performing software upgrades and patches, performing review of logs, server backup and recovery. Software upgrades and patches include applying security vulnerability patch for client or kernel related component e.g. SAPGUI, SAP Kernel, SAP Host Agent, DB Client, SAP Router etc.

- Configure, manage and maintain the application software and database that has been installed for ES(Logs). This includes the patching of applications and databases, maintaining applications and databases, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and application and databases backup and recovery.

- Perform network level troubleshooting by coordinating and working with the various network stakeholders

- Monitor the end-of-life support (EOS) of all existing technologies

- Activate hardware vendor for faulty part replacement and tracking of the maintenance expiry date for each of the hardware component.

- Maintain system inventory list and records of all maintenance activities, including proper documentation, accounting and administrative records of all services performed, request / approval forms and warranty records provided by manufacturer (where applicable) during the Contract period. The system inventory list shall be maintained, validated and updated regularly.

- Be responsible to perform the following:

a. Monitor, download (if necessary) and apply patches of applications and related system components (such as operating systems, applications/SAP) For patches that are carried out by the Authority's infrastructure, support and ensure that ES(Logs) is operational after patching. Apply the patches in non-production environment, test and ensure that any impact is fully addressed and resolved, prior application in the Production environment.

b. Send the functional notes to the functional teams. Work with functional teams independently to resolve patching issues.

b. Support activities initiated by the Authority related to ES(Logs) such as directory services maintenance which the ES(Logs) uses, upgrade of hardware, database etc.

c. Support the deployment and operation of the Kerberos SSO landscape.

d. Manage the ES(Logs) environments to ensure the consistency in software version, patch level, and configuration for non-production and production environment. The Supplier shall conduct system checks after facilities or preventive maintenance related activities such as power shutdown/failure, load test, shifting of server rooms, aircon malfunction in server room, to ensure that ES(Logs) is in good health. The Supplier shall provide onsite support on weekdays, after working hours or weekends and Public Holiday according to the system availability requirement.

- Resolve findings in the Network & Host (operation system) vulnerability scanning.

- Build, support, maintain any changes/addition to the landscape. This includes requirements for change/new databases instances, VMs, install requested SAP/Databases components and backup services to support the new VMs/applications. For new addition to the landscape, the Supplier shall harden the OS and the DB based on the hardening guide provided by the Authority.

- Perform housekeeping of ES(Logs) in the ES(Logs) system landscape. This include the System and filesystem space check and data housekeeping.

Implement scripts to manage and housekeep files (trace, dump, audit and error logs), monitoring of databases and OS critical processes/resources. Generate monthly performance analysis reports.
