Our client is a leading Asia-focused alternative investment firm with deep expertise across private and public markets.

This is a newly created role, reporting to Chief Executive Officer.

This position requires a proactive, entrepreneurial individual who is ready to engage in active, hands-on work, leveraging their background in a globally recognized, prestigious institution. A profound grasp of absolute-return investment strategies and related products in both private and public sectors is essential. Collaboration with diverse investment and business development teams is key to fostering unity within the company, ensuring client needs are met with appropriate products, and enhancing the firm's brand value. A significant aspect of this role involves leading high-caliber, client-oriented introductory sessions and providing consistent updates on portfolio performance.

This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with family offices and institutions, and expanding client base, developing, and executing strategies to raise capital.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior business development executives to craft and execute sales strategies, while also identifying and fostering strategic partnerships within Singapore and beyond.
  • Seek and capitalize on business opportunities with family offices and high-net-worth individuals to enhance assets under management (AUM) and boost revenue.
  • Engage in the creation of new products, their positioning, and collaborate with the upper management, business development, and investment teams to align the product offerings with client needs.
  • Raise Company's profile among investors at investment conferences and seminars, targeting those currently unaware of the brand.
  • Oversee and synchronize the sales process both internally and externally, aiming to not only meet but surpass investor expectations.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, sales pursuits, and data on all existing and potential investors within the CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of eight years' experience in comparable positions.
  • Demonstrated excellence in roles akin to those at a fund management or financial services firm, bolstered by a robust network and experience with family offices, high-net-worth individuals, or institutional clients.
  • In-depth understanding of investment strategies, products across public and private markets, and the associated regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Exceptional skills in communication, relationship-building, and presentations, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with both internal team members and external contacts.
  • A problem-solver with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, dedicated to fostering business development and growth.
  • A collaborative yet autonomous professional who is driven, inventive, proactive, and capable of operating independently.
  • Proficiency in English is required, with additional language skills, particularly in Business Chinese, considered beneficial.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Responsible for the meticulous upkeep of client data, sales activities, and information regarding all existing and potential investors within the CRM system.
