Roles & Responsibilities

RAD Ballet & Dance Teacher Required - Start January 2025

(Fulltime/Partime/Freelance positions available)

This person needs to be passionate about dance and movement and have the ability & experience to teach other dance styles to little ones & up through the ages - We are looking for a Teacher who can teach, inspire and enthuse students with the love of dance and prepare and enter our ballet students for RAD exams, working with young dancers upwards.

The school also has a thriving Musical Theatre and Drama departments so the ability to teach across departments, would be considered an advantage.

Qualifications:

EITHER - a degree or diploma in dance/performing arts linked with either a teaching qualification or significant teaching experience. OR a degree or diploma in education and the relevant dance experience.

Non Singapore Citizens - If applying from outside of Singapore - A diploma is not acceptable a degree is required in order to get the relevant work pass to work in Singapore.

Contract:

Part-Time 1 academic yr Commitment - Starting January 2025

Full-Time - 2 academic yr Commitment - Starting January 2025

Freelance - 18 hours of teaching on Monday and Thursday afternoon, including weekends. (Jan to Apr 2025)

Salary - Freelance $70 per hr for teaching and $20 per hr for admin - dependent on age, qualifications and experience

Salary - Full time - Competitive - dependent on age, qualifications and experience

All candidates - must have DBS (previously CRB) UK police check, or Singapore, home country equivalent.
