Roles and Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner. Resolve customer issues or refer them to the appropriate bank staff for assistance
  • Handling financial transactions such as fund transfers, time deposit and inward/outward remittance
  • Prepare daily reports and reconcile discrepancies
  • Customer Account Management: perform static updates for accounts and internet banking services
  • Conduct Know-Your-Customer(KYC) and customer due diligence checks for new and existing clients
  • Review SWIFT message in system to ensure payments comply with relevant financial regulations including AML, CTF and sanctions
  • Monitor for suspicious transactions and to escalate any potential AML/CTF related activities to Compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions
  • Liaising with customers, banks or relationship managers to resolve issues
  • Continuous effort to identify areas for process improvements
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Department Head


Requirements


  • Minimum Diploma holder or equivalent
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, able to multi-task, and willing to work under pressure.
  • Minimum 1 year of Bank Teller experience
  • Possessing good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good knowledge of Banking Products would be a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
