We are searching for a highly dynamic and knowledgeable Vice President of AI Initiatives to join our team in Singapore. In this role, the individual will report into a Partner and be responsible for identifying high-impact business use cases and crafting technical solutions using machine learning and generative artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to develop proof of concepts and consult on AI/ML solutions, serving as an invaluable resource for the firm on all AI-related strategies and guidance. As the VP of AI Initiatives, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify cutting-edge technologies, drive innovation, and spearhead the adoption of generative AI technologies. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead a team of Full-stack Developer, Product Manager, and multiple vendors, while also being hands-on and adaptable to drive tangible business outcomes.Identify business use cases, craft workflows, conceive new product ideas, and define technical designs and architectures.Demonstrate experience in developing proof of concepts (POCs) and showcasing creative, forward-thinking approaches.Communicate effectively and collaborate with non-technical colleagues and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.Serve as an AI subject matter expert, providing valuable insights and guidance to the firm and portfolio companies.

Qualifications:JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Min 8 – 12 years of technology experiencesGraduated with bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Artificial Intelligence, etcA Ph.D. in a relevant field and or experience as an adjunct lecturer, providing a strong foundation in advanced AI and machine learning conceptsPrior experience in software development or data engineering will be a plusKnowledge of machine learning frameworks (LLMs), algorithms, and principlesExperience in design/implementation/consulting for Machine Learning/AI/Deep Learning solutionsExperience in technical architecture, design, deployment, and operations for AI/ML solutionsAbility to technically consult on business and process related needs, work effectively with technical teams to convert them into technical requirements to achieve business outcomesExperience with Agile is desired, but not essential.KEY COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate is tech-savvy and demonstrates strong interest in the venture capital/technology space including:

Good presentation abilities, with excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from other fieldsStrong knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, NLPs, Ability to project manage timely and effectively across multiple initiatives.Self-starter and a great team playerExceptional interpersonal skills, result-driven and have strong work ethicStrategic and business-oriented thinkingHighly motivated and a self-starter
