Roles & Responsibilities

Working location: Tai Seng

Working hours: 9am - 6pm

Salary: up to $5,000

Job Duties:

• Assist fleet vessels with maintenance management of electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic or electro-pneumatic/ automation systems.
• Review and submit planned maintenance schedules of electrical/electronic/electro-hydraulic or electro-pneumatic/ automation systems / power generation / backup power source / fire detection system to Technical Manager.
• Guide onboard engineers on electrical tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide fault diagnosis.
• Advise on shore assistance and spare part procurement.
• Conduct onboard attendance and provide weekly reports.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend modifications.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing across fleets.
• Support incident investigations and dry docking planning.
• Participate in continuous improvement of departmental procedures.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as Electrical-Technical Officer (ETO) on sea-going vessels
• Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) compliant
• Strong electrical background in oil, gas or chemical tankers or offshore support vessels. (tertiary education in Electrical or Electronic)
• Hands-on experience with electrical power distribution, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in troubleshooting & fault diagnosis skills related to electrical, instrumentation, automation & control and including air conditioning and ventilation system
• Familiarity with shipping industry regulations
