Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and reconcile quality / technical matters to various stakeholders.
  • Investigate supplier non-conformance, drive root cause analysis, discuss corrective actions and implement process improvement, including source inspection.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure their manufacturing processes comply with customers’ expectations.
  • Monitor non-conformance performance and collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in supplier’s quality.
  • Maintain and improve product quality by completing product and compliance audits.
  • Prepare and review monthly data to analyse quality issues.
  • Process engineering changes (ECN).
  • Maintain customer’s claims system.
  • Maintain calibration process for Shimadzu’s equipment.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in supply chain management, engineering or science.
  • At least three years of experience in quality engineering or related role.
  • Having experiences in mechanical engineering or related field will be advantageous.
  • Possess good communication skills and able to articulate ideas succinctly to local and international stakeholders.
  • Possess a good analytical mind, positive attitude and patience under challenging situations.
  • Having a tenacious desire to solve challenging technical problems will be a distinct advantage.
  • Possess a good organizational skill and a strong penchant for neatness.
  • Possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
  • Able to work independently and a good team player.
  • Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is preferred.
