Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Senior / Software Engineer with 4 to 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java Persistence API JavaScript IT Service Management Core Java and PL/SQL. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive our companys success and positively impact society. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.'

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Persistence API JavaScript Core Java and PL/SQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement IT Service Management best practices to enhance service delivery and support.
  • Write clean efficient and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications addressing issues promptly and effectively.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the teams skills remain current and competitive.
  • Assist in the design and architecture of new software solutions ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Document software designs technical specifications and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
  • Mentor junior developers providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and contribute effectively.

Requirements

  • Possess a strong understanding of Java Persistence API and its application in software development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript for creating interactive and dynamic web applications.
  • Have experience with IT Service Management practices to improve service delivery.
  • Show expertise in Core Java for building robust and scalable applications.
  • Be skilled in PL/SQL for database programming and management.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Be capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time.
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Certifications Required

  • Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer ITIL Foundation Certification
