Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team to design, develop and commissioning support of Pharmaceuticals PLC systems.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards.
  • Lead role in the interaction with Operations Team, Process Team, Equipment Vendors and Technology providers.
  • Play a pivotal role in continuous improvement of the PLC systems and support for Operations.
  • Work with automation team to design system hardware, validate design specification, control strategies, and library development.
  • Oversees the BAU support for manufacturing operations for day-to-day support for Automation systems.
  • Oversees the support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes
  • Oversees field commissioning of automation equipment’s.
  • Oversees System administration and maintenance support.
  • Oversees Computer system Validation and documentation support for automation systems.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Automation or other related studies.
  • 8 to15 years’ experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry with good track record (demonstrated projects) of automation hardware and networking technologies.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Technical Lead or Team Lead role in the Pharmaceutical industry, with good track record (demonstrated projects) of automation hardware and networking technologies, as well as demonstrated ability and experience to lead a small team. Must be able to manage multiple party coordination for automation information.
  • Project management experience in system design and deployment.
  • Experience in the technical/systems architecture, solution design, deployment and commissioning or support of Siemens system project (Simatic IT or PCS7) for GMP manufacturing site.
  • Through understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc) and Siemens PCS7 or S7 with Batch exposure is required.
  • Strong understanding of Global Engineering Standard for Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical processes.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and quality management processes in the pharma industry.
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Network Infrastructure, Windows Active Directory and Domain Controller, Cybersecurity Architecture, Cluster Administration tools, Backup and Restoration tools.
  • Good communication and able to work remotely or onsite as required by client.
