Job Title: Pastry Instructor

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Instructor to join our team.


Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Pastry Instructor who is passionate about teaching and sharing their expertise with aspiring chefs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, exceptional teaching abilities, and a commitment to excellence in culinary education.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive pastry arts curriculum for students of varying skill levels.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct practical hands-on pastry demonstrations and workshops for your assigned classes.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their pastry techniques and skills.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in pastry arts to enhance curriculum content and teaching methodologies.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students.
  • Demonstrate the ability to come up with new pastry recipes and innovative flavor combinations.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working as a pastry chef or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of excellence in pastry arts, including proficiency in various pastry techniques and baking methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively teach and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Previous teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.
  • Passion for pastry arts, creativity, and a commitment to fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Have a high sense of responsibility.
